$27,328 generated with one simple email.

Hey There,

It's Raghav here and I'm going to show you one simple email that generated $27,328 in sales for Matt, one of my clients, owner of a SaaS company, Get Simple Data.

I charge my clients money to implement this, so pay attention....

This stuff can make you a lot of moolah.

Why am I giving this to you?

That's for two reasons (one of them rather selfish):

  • This will generate immediate sales for you no matter what SaaS you have: B2B, B2C, B2B2C, BBKING (lol). This simple email can boost your cashflow with just 10 minutes of work.
  • If this works for you, you'll hopefully see I'm not full of baloney and you may want to work with me 1-1 to get more results just like this for your own business.

Why does this work?

Your prospects are pulled in a million different directions all at once, they’re putting out fires, fixing issues, hiring, firing - not to mention all the family stuff they have going on.

The points is: Prospects DON’T convert for many reasons, NOT just because they’re not interested in you anymore.

The fact is MOST people won’t buy the first time.

In his book Almost Alchemy, Dan Kennedy (one of the highest paid and most successful business consultants) said:

“Follow up…will produce subsequent sales from no less than 5% to as much as 20% of the non-buyers. Period. No Exceptions.”

Remember: just because your buyer didn’t buy then doesn’t mean they will never buy.

So how do I get them re-interested?

Just ask them if they're still interested....yes it's really that simple.

Send them this simple email to ask them if they're still interested:

Hi Rob, are you still looking for a [insert what you sell here] - Joe

We’re not going to sell anything.

We’re not going to right a long, 2 page sales email talking about how great we are, how great our product is or all the new features we have.

We’re simply going to ask if they are still in need of what they signed up for.

That’s it.

It can't be that simple can it?

It really can. And here's why:

You're simply trying to start a conversation with the prospect. It's human. They know it's you genuinely wanting to talk rather than a machine sending out picture filled, advertisement liked emails.

What you want to absolutely avoid

I’m sure you’ve got a little voice in your head saying “this won’t work! This is too easy!” Or “Surely I must put MORE in this email!”

Please tell that voice to take a hike for now. Tell it “Thank you for your concern, but I’m going to try this anyway. If it doesn’t work, you were right. If it does, that’s a few extra leads we didn’t have before. Either way the risk is low.”

Variations and Examples

  • If you list is extremely large and you cannot respond to each of them:“Hey Joe, are you still looking for [Product]? - [Name]”In this variation you just link to a landing page that says:“Extend your trial of [Product] and experience all the following benefits”Here you can start building the value of your product and encourage them to take an action, in this case extending their trial.

FAQ

Can I send this as a cold email to totally new prospects that haven’t heard or me?

No, please don’t do this. You’ll get tons of angry replies, unsubs, spam complaints and flaming poop bags. ONLY send this to people who have expressed interest in your product already.

What do I do if they respond?

Move right into your sales process. Something like: Great! Can we hop on a quick call this week to talk about your specific needs and see if we’re a fit?

How often can I send this email?

Once a quarter is usually a good idea, but change up the email a bit so you’re not asking the same thing every time. You can “reposition” your product in many different ways based on your market segments.

Should I have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email?

You betcha. Give people a way to opt out if they’re not interested anymore.

What to do now?

Grab a pen n paper and write your own version of this email and hit send to all of your leads.

Can’t wait to here about your results :)
